1 A Minta one Night had occasion to p—
2 Ioan reach'd her the Pot that stood by her,
3 I in the next Chamber could hear it to hiss;
4 The Sluce was small, but Stream was strong,
5 My Soul was melting, thinking of bliss,
6 And raving I lay with desire;

7 But nought could be done,
8 For alas she p—d on,
9 Nor car'd for Pangs I suffer'd long,
10 Ioan next made hast
11 In th'self same Case,
12 To fix the Pot close to her own A—
13 Then Floods did come,
14 One might have swom,
15 And Puff, a Whirl-wind flew from her B—
II.
16 Says Ioan, by these strange Blasts that do rise,
17 I guess that the Night will grow windy,
18 For when such Showers do fall from the Skies,
19 To clear the Air the North-wind blows.
20 Ye nasty Quean, her Lady replies,
21 That Tempest broke out from behind ye;
22 And though it was decently kept from my Eyes,
23 The troubled Air offends my Nose.
24 Says Ioan, 'ods heart,
25 You have p—d a Quart,

27 'Tis still your mind
28 To squeeze behind;
29 But never fell Shower from me without wind.
