1 NO more sorrows, no more cares,
2 Tune my lyre to chearful airs.
3 Now so happy, now so gay,
4 'Tis for — this my lay.
5 While the nymphs with pleasure twine,
6 With each flower that decks the spring,
7 The gay garland for the brow,
8 Few amongst them sweet as you;
9 May the nymph for him design'd,
10 Ever faithful, ever kind;
11 Sweet and chearful, may she be;
12 Temper and good sense like thee.
